Thea Booysen formally met Mr. Beast through a friend in a club in South Africa as revealed in a popular podcast show named “Wide Awake”.  That was where they ceremoniously  met although their very first meeting was in Antarctica where they were present for a video project to be shot with some notable influencers including Mr. Br Beast himself, along with Logan Paul ( a popular figure on YouTube and a professional wrestler) and Casey Neistat ( another popular influencer and filmmaker).  But due a call by their team that everyone in the region of Antarctica had contracted Covid-19 their trip had to be cancelled and they were stuck in South Africa.   They had been dating each other since February 2022 and publicly confirmed their relationship in October of the same year.

From Antarctica to a South African Club

It was at the club where Thea along with her sister and a couple of friends were present along with Mr Beast, whereby her sister introduced her to Mr. Beast.  Mr. Beast was instantly attracted to Thea and openly expressed his admiration for Thea Booysen’s beauty. Ironically, she started streaming games just because she loved doing it and had no idea how much money there was to be made in this business. It was during her undergraduate degree that she got onto this and realized the immense earning potential that the field of game streaming and e-sports offers and she often spoke about it saying that not a lot of people know how much you can make streaming games and being a part of the e sports industry.  It became her full-time job during her undergraduate studies, and this not only helped her pay for her tuition fee but was also something that she really enjoyed.  Her undergraduate degree was in law for a reason and that was because she wanted to understand and let people know how her country is run and how she could protect the people of her nation. Imagine the far-sightedness and insight that she had, and the immense love for her people and their prosperity.  She wanted to pursue her master’s degree from South Africa too, but the country didn’t offer many opportunities in this area of science, namely neuroscience and hence she had to go to Scotland for it.

Thea helps people as a part of her passion, she got into neuroscience to understand more about how the brain works with the motive to get to know people better. She has made it clear that she will be self-funding her research and experiments and will not be requesting for any grants or bursaries from the institution.

Being a south African herself she understands that they are a small minority in the world but with each other’s support and love she believes they can go a long way, and she surely wants to make it happen. She sure is firmly bound on her journey to success and is a true inspiration for millions!
